The main entrance is delimited with young olive trees and preannounces immediately the typical country accommodation. Where you'll be greeted first by joyful small half-blood dogs.
Once here your vacation in a Sardinian farm, the 'Agriturismo Guthiddai' begins. Crossing the court yard with its numerous small benches, the whitewashed outside stairs and harmonious round arches you bump to a door that give you access to a spacious restaurant hall with fire-place. Heavy wood beams in the ceiling, dark pieces of furniture, numerous baskets and black-and-white pictures from the daily agricultural life, fill the cozy picture of this unique accommodation. The freshly prepared food, whose ingredients come mainly from own or neighbors' production, is almost a benefaction for food lovers. Here the simple spices supplied by nature are combined for recipes rich in tradition.
In the main house on the left of the restaurant area, at the end of a purpose built corridor there are two double rooms. These were fitted with their own external bathroom with shower, WC, bidet and washing basin. The equipment of these rooms is simple but very comfortable and well maintained. Unfortunately they do not have a terrace.
The rest of the rooms were realized in the garden area either with or without Mountain View (Supramonte) with in addition a really big family room. A certain comfort is created with the dark wood beams in the azure ceilings, as well as with a pleasant lighting and private bathrooms with shower, WC, bidet and washing basins. But the real special feature in these rooms is that they can be entered through a private door from their own garden terrace. So you have the feeling of living in your own small house.
In the garden, lemon trees, rosemary and myrtle shrubs spread a pleasant Mediterranean scent, while you can be relaxing under the shade of olive trees or reading a book.

This accommodation is for all those who want to combine the naturalness of Sardinia and genuine food with a varied activity holiday, still not too far from the beautiful beaches, and mostly would like to experience the warm-heartedness of a Sardinian family.

The original, traditional village of Oliena and the other surrounding mountain villages in the heart of Sardinia fascinate their visitors with endless wonders: a natural, almost unspoiled mountain world, centuries-old forests, the Canyon like 'Su Gorroppu' gorge, which ranks among the deepest drops of Europe, mysterious archaeological sites, like the Nuraghe village of 'Tiscali'.

In only a 30 minutes drive east, you can reach the beaches, of the touristy coastal place of Cala Gonone.
From there you can take unforgettable boat trips to caves or enchanted bays, where you can only get by sea or foot.

Further north, in the bay of Orosei, you'll be spoiled again with a selection of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Sardinia.
This is surely an area, in which one can mix an outdoor vacation with relaxing beach days.
