Idyllic Bed and Breakfast in a stylish country house atmosphere and connected to a well-maintained donkey's paddock.

Laura and Alberto, the friendly owners couple, always wanted to move here to leave the stressful city life behind and enjoy a life close to nature. Already the first sight of this quite special Bed and Breakfast was enough, in order for the both of them to decide to finally realise their lifetime dream.

A big garden gate with an artistically designed donkey, the recurring feature of this accommodation, marks the entrance to this almost forgotten world.
From the gate a narrow path goes past a big paddock where own-bred donkeys graze peacefully, as far as the spacious guests car park. Further on a footpath leads to a small, antique forecourt, which still partially features the original flooring. What was once a little Residential house for the farmers' family, today it's a picturesque quiet background, regenerating a way of life close to nature. Old coach wheels, millstones, a beautiful wheelbarrow and beautiful cacti underline the simple, however, tasteful atmosphere.
Immediately behind the forecourt is the former stable area. Today its premises are used as Bed & Breakfast with its earthy-pleasant lounge, the altogether four double rooms, the kitchen and an office.
Here the reading and lounge room with its wood-burning oven creates the perfect place to relax during bad weather thanks to the smart and carefully thought over furniture and equipment. Breakfast can be enjoyed in this special room during cooler mornings.
A peculiarity of this B&B are the four double rooms, two of which can be reached by a rustic, open wooden staircase and can be connected with the double room below with an inside staircase. These four rooms share two bathrooms in the ground floor with shower and WC and every room always disposes of a private washbasin. Ceramics hand painted tiles, antique wall cupboards, as well as reed or wood beam roofs are the basic elements of this almost forgotten world.
Next to the main building there is a simple, small kitchen available for the guests. While on the left you reach a one-storey annex building, built in a horseshoe shape. Here other six double rooms were accommodated, each of them with an outside entrance and own bathroom with shower, WC, bidet and washbasin. The equipment is simple but functional and pleasant. Moreover in the centre section of the annex another small kitchen is available for the guests, while a preceding terrace creates the optimal addition to appreciate the tasty food.
Behind this building you find another donkeys' paddock. These tame and loved animals have given the name to this unique accommodation.

This Bed and Breakfast is for all those who would like to enjoy holidays close to nature in an idyllic countryside. Not far from fantastic beaches and with plenty of places to discover.

The near town of Arzachena is the biggest municipality of this popular holiday area and a strategic location for the surrounding places of Baia Sardinia, Costa Smeralda and Cannigione. Close to it is also San Pantaleo, a small picturesque mountain village, famous for the numerous flat houses that remind of the "Stazzi" (Sardinian stone houses) of the Gallura shepherds.
Also what make this region really delightful are the amazing granite stone formations of the nearer surroundings, as well as the archaeological and naturalistic finding sites.
All important tourist services, like shopping, restaurants, banks and pharmacies in Arzachena are available at any time. While during the summer months the exclusive place of Porto Cervo, with its 5-stars hotels, designer's boutiques, tennis courts and golf courses, luxury discos and yacht harbor provides a fascinating contrast to the peace and tradition of the more historic places of Arzachena and San Pantaleo. The travelers will be spoilt for excursion destinations, like the boat trips around the protected island of La Maddalena (7 km from Cannigione) or day trips inland to Tempio Pausania and Aggius.
