Castelsardo
Place and Surroundings
Castelsardo was founded like Alghero at the beginning of the 12th century by the aristocrat's family Doria. The castle, still in good condition, is looking over since the 13th century on this volcanic hill. During clear days from the castle terraces you can have a sight of Corsica and the Asinara island.
