Reisen Company History:
Over the last 10 years MMV Reisen has reached a high
level of expertise in individual and group holidays. The brand stands
for tailored holidays in Sardinia and Corsica. Whether
it's a holiday house, a luxury hotel, a group travel or an incentive,
MMV Reisen puts the accent on commitment, service, and personal advice.
In December 1995, together with his Sardinian wife, the German IT engineer
(and Sardinia and Corsica expert) Michael Müller launched the first
online Germaninformation portal about
Sardinia:www.sardinien.com. Under the management of the
Italian company MMV Consulting S.r.l., the site has become the most
visited German online travel magazine about Sardinia.
The new possibilities offered by the internet led to the creation of
the online travel cataloguewww.ferien-in-sardinien.com,
managed by the tour operator MMV Reisen GmbH: competent
advice and the best price on the market for all Sardinia
lovers.
In 2004 MMV Reisen developed even further: Corsica
joined Sardinia in the list of offered destinations with a brand new
catalogue (www.ferien-in-korsika.com)
offering individual holidays and travel packages
in the Île de Beauté. An agency was then opened in Aléria,
in the east cost of the island.
MMV Consulting S.r.l., on the basis of their successful
experience with the Sardinian online travel magazine, took on the task
of developing the site in Germanwww.korsika.fr:
useful travel information combined with an event calendar
and up-to-date info about culture, history and gastronomy of the island.
In 2008 MMV Consulting S.r.l. changed its name into MMV Reisen
Italia S.r.l., and started managing the Italian travel agency
MMV Perle. The company also moved in the direction
of establishing an Italian customer base with the online
catalogue www.vacanze-in-sardegna.com.
MMV Reisen Italia S.r.l. and MMV Reisen GmbH
became officially partners in 2009. From the main
offices in Cagliari MMV Reisen Italia S.r.l.
takes care of the entire set of services related to individual travels,
while MMV Reisen GmbH focuses on planning, developing and carrying out
customized group travels, incentives and study trips.
MMV Reisen has thus developed into a German-Italian
travel organizer.
