Upon reservation you'll be asked for the model and brand of the vehicle. Also for price calculation purposes you'll be also asked for the lenght, presence of trailers and attached accessories (e.g. bicycles).
Oversized vehicles: vehicles that have a height of more than 2.20 mt (2.00 mt for the crossing to Civitavecchia) and 7 or have a width of more than 2.00 mt have to be pointed out at the moment of reservation and are subject to a supplement. In case of a no declaration, the company reserves the right to refuse the embarkation or to surcharge the amount due for the return trip.

Passengers boarding with a vehicle are requested to arrive not later than 1 hour before departure. Passengers without a vehicle are requested to arrive not later than 30 min before departure. During high season it's recommended to arrive 1h30 before departure.
If you already have your ticket you should go directly on the right boarding pier. You will pass a controlling point where they will issue your boarding card without having to go to the Port offices.
