** Spare parts such as tires, windows glasses, mechanical parts are still charged (up to the limit of the damage excess). For this reason, even if you select to get the damage excess waiver, a security deposit is still requested. This deposit can be paid in cash or with a credit card.

Extra costs:
  • GPS Navigation system: € 5 per day
  • Baby seat (from 0 to 18 kg), available upon request and/or availability: € 20 per rental
  • Baby seat (18 kg up), available upon request and/or availability: € 20 per rental
  • Late car return:
    • after 9.00 pm: you'll be liable of a "night service" charge of € 25
    • after 10.30 pm until 24.00 pm you'll be liable of a "night service" charge of € 40
    • after midnight only on request
    • Fuel and fines
  • Refuelling service: € 13 on top of petrol costs (only if the car is returned with a smaller amount of petrol than the start of your rental).
  • Car return in a different town (Alghero, Olbia or Cagliari): € 50
Compensation charges for the loss of:
  • Car keys: € 186 + delivery fees
  • Car documents: € 500
For our rental cars the following cancellation conditions are valid:
For the groups/categories B,C,K,D no cancellation fees are applied
for all other categories:
Up to 30 days before your rental date there are no cancellation fees
29 days - 10 days before your rental: 20% of rental price
9 days - 5 days before your rental: 50% of rental price
No show: 100% of rental price

  • The car rental conditions & terms will be handed out together with the rental agreement.
  • The minimum rental charge is one day.
  • A delay of more than 59 minutes implies the charge of a further day of rental
  • The renter must be at least 21 years old, have a full, clean driving licence held for at least a year, and be holder of a credit card (Visa, Diners, American Express, MasterCard).
  • For renters under 23 years the payment of the excess waiver fee is obligatory with Theft & Fire and Comprehensive Insurance;
  • Car renter under 23 years have to pay a compulsory supplement of € 6 per day
  • Deposit can be paid in cash or with a credit card
  • The Credit Card must be under the name of the person who booked the car.
  • For office opening hours please check locally.
  • Third party/ Theft & fire / Comprehensive:
    1. Third party (translates in Italian as "RC Auto")
    2. Theft & Fire (translates in Italian as "Assicurazione incendio e furto" together with "copertura contro calamità naturali"): covers theft losses and fire damages in the vehicle, as well as losses caused by natural disasters
    3. Comprehensive Insurance (in Italian "Kasko"): covers against damage caused by own fault or by third persons to the vehicle - NB: Damage to windows and tires is generally not covered

  • All vehicles of the car rental 'AM Service' are insured for liability and have Theft & Fire (with excess damage of € 800-1200), and/or Comprehensive insurance (with excess damage of € 800-1200
  • With a daily surcharge the excess damage can be excluded at the rental office when picking up the rented car:
    • € 5 a day for the Third Party;
    • € 8 a day for the Comprehensive

    The exclusion of the self-participation does not cover damage on tires, windows, carpets and mechanical parts. For this reason it is always necessary to deposit by credit card or cash a sum of money as a bail.
