The hotel Su Gologone is a few kilometers away from the mountain village of Oliena underneath the impressive mountain range of the Supramonte, whose summit dominates the landscape.
Stones and cork oaks, myrtle and rosemary, olive trees, limestone formations and a vineyard shape the environment within this large property and makes the arriving guests feel in the right holiday mood.

The hotel entrance is characterised by a large white gate, which reminds you of the Spanish colonial style.
On the right you can find a tennis court, a football field and a children playground, on the left there's a small parking lot for guests.
To get to the check in and reception area you have to walk on an easy ramp that gives way to different terraces connected with few steps, where tables and padded armchair are available.
Here you can have time to yourself and take a cocktail or an aperitif under a fig tree.

Lilac bougainvilles welcome you at the entrance of the Reception building. In the generous entrance hall the visitor is overwhelmed by the sardinian style furniture: carved chairs and low wood tables, elegant traditional carpets, oil paintings with sardinian motives and beige materials create the atmospheare. In a small display cabinet pieces of jewlerry made with filigran gold, as well as sardinian pottery and many other hand-made works are available for purchase. The reception is also in tone with the rest of the room and decorated with multi-coloured tiles.

You reach the rooms over a series of external and internal corridors with multicolored-decorated stairway and unique ornamental pieces.
Each room is characterised by its own design and furniture. Some have even a small front garden, others have a balcony.
Some others have a small hall with sardinian armchairs and a splendid view to the garden.
The elegant, iron beds remind of past hand made craft, which are only followed today by few masters.
The most beautiful Suite offers a breath-taking terrace, from which you have a fantastic panorama view of the surrounding landscape.
In the junior suite and suite as extras you get bathrobes, a coffee machine, as well as a stereo at your disposal.

Opposite the entrance hall there's a panoramic restaurant terrace, where guests can have breakfast or eat in the evening with the scent of the surrounding Macchia Mediterranea ascending from the valley.
The restaurant is surely the heart of the hotel. It is divided into two halls. The large hall is dominated by an open fire-place, in which traditional piglet on spit are roasted.
The amazing smell of food spreads in the entire hall making you feel hungry.
Both halls are furnished in a good taste, with columns and heavy wooden arches.
And you notice here again Sardinian paintings, carpets and pottery.

After that you can always burn your calories in the Gym, the tennis court or with a football game.
But if you are looking for relax, you can enjoy the fresh air in the swimming pool area, get pampered in the beauty center or also discover the area around the hotel property with a bike.

Pet lovers can bring their dog and have walks in the area (only the restaurant and swimming pool are not certified for dogs).
