Day trip with the historic sailing boat 'Maby II', included lunch aboard. Trips depart daily(for at least 6 persons). Departure from the yacht harbour in Villasimius.
The Maby II is a 20 mt long historic sailing boat that left in 1944 from the shipyard of Torre del Greco, on the Neapolitan coast. The Maby II originally used as a coral ship in the Mediterranean offers, today, the possibilities for an exciting day trip along the coast.
From the small yacht harbor the day trip goes towards the sea-nature park of Villasimius. First up is Capo Carbonara that offers a brief snorkeling opportunity: you should try to observe the sunken Madonna-Statue (fins, face mask and snorkel are available on board) After a refreshing bath the guests will enjoy a tasty lunch aboard, consisting of Sardinian Antipasti, a pasta dish and seasonal fruit while cruising. Going past the small bay of Cala Giunco along the kilometer-long sandy beaches of Timi Ama and Simius Playa and as far as the cape of Punta Molentis. Here you can enjoy an extra longer break with bath possibilities on the beach. A small inflatable boat will accompany you to the beach.
Before the Maby goes back to the harbor of Villasimius, there is another stop 400 mt before the Simius Playa beach. A sandbank with a lot of fishes offers another fantastic snorkel opportunity to observe small and big fishes. Then about 5 oclock the Maby gets back to the harbor after an exciting day out.
