Reservation of a Yacht without a local Skipper requires the submission of a copy of the sailing license.
The embarkation itself takes place on Saturdays at 18:00 hours (6 pm).
The return to the harbor is always on Fridays till 18:00 hours.
Unloading and check out, however, takes place on Saturdays at 09:00 hours.
The security bail (see price-list) is deposited in cash or by credit card (only MasterCard and Visa accepted).

Notes
- The prices are inclusive of autopilot, 220 Volt cable + battery charger, barometer, log + eco, wind station, Vhf, Gps LCD Color, tender, ahming, Sprayhood, electric radio + CD, 2 gas bottles, refrigerator, warm water and final cleaning
- Italian flags
- The daily moorage in the harbour is included in the price from September till June. In July and August, however, only the first and last night are included.
- Check in takes place always on Saturdays at 18:00 hours (6 pm), embarking at 19:00 hours.
The customer must check the sail charter before leaving with the rental staff and note damages on the check in list if necessary. The failure of not indicating damages to the partner within the first hour of leaving the harbor occurs in extra charges on return of the customer withdrawn from the security bail.
- On Fridays the return to the harbour should take place at 18:00 hours (6 pm)to make the check-out, the last overnight accommodation can be aboard at the harbour, then on Saturdays the yacht should be diembarked not later than 9 o'clock.
With early return there is no possible claim for the not used rental days
- A weekend charter can possibly be arranged. Starting on Fridays at 17:00 hours (5 pm) and ending on Sundays at 18:00 (6 pm)
- A one way charter with check in in Marina di Portisco and return in another Sardinian harbour is possible on arrangement and with a surcharge
- If at the beginning of the journey the booked model is destroyed or largely damaged and therefore unusable, MMV Reisen reserves the right to replace it with the same or with an higher class sailing charter without pre-informing the customer.
- If a handing over of a boat is late, but still possible, the customer can request either the restitution of the lost rental days or retrieve it at the end of the holiday.
Should the delay be later than 48 hours, the customer can either withdraw from the contract and accept the whole rental amount back (without being able to discuss other claims) or alternatively wait for the charter and only claim the refund of the unused rental days
- If not foreseeable serious damages, losses or accidents etc., not caused by the customer, appear during the cruise and make the journey impossible for more than 48 hours, MMV Reisen refunds money for the accrued lost time against the rental amount or alternatively the customer can use the extra time at the end of the trip.
Should the break last less than 48 hours no claim is taken into account.
- MMV Reisen cannot be found responsible for bad weather conditions.
- Should the customer from any reason not be able to bring back the sail charter at the arranged time at the harbour, then he/she is responsible for security and all resulting costs of the sail charter until it is not anchored in the harbor.
- The customer must transmit at regular intervals to the harbour personel their cruising position.

Informations and General Conditions
- Sailing station: Naval territory up to max. 50 miles from the coast
- The general renting conditions are handed out directly with reservation and signing of the lease
- Upon reservation a complete crew list must be filled out with all participant details.
- The minimum age of the Skipper is 18 years. He/she is the captain and responsible for the ship and the crew. It must possess a regular, internationally valid sailing license and have a proof of it upon reservation
- The Skipper has to use the sailing charter exclusively for leisure purposes. The participation in regattas and similar contests is not permitted.
The charter should never be unsupervised. Minimum 1 person should always remain on board.
The moorage should not be left if there is a prospective wind force 5.
- Pets are not allowed on board, and smoking is not prohibited
- Third party/ Theft & Fire/ Comprehensive Insurance
All sailing charters are insured for Third party and have a Comprehensive insurance available with an excess fee.
This are included:
Liability insurance against thirds with unlimited covering;
Theft and Fire that covers theft and fire damage to the sail charter, as well as damage caused by natural catastrophes;
Comprehensive Insurance that covers own faults or damage caused by thirds, as well as acts of vandalisms.
In case of deliberate or negligent cause of damage, in particular driving unfitness caused with alcohol or drugs, the renter commits a hit-and-run offence or violates his/her obligations; he/she is responsible fully, unless the violation has had no influence on the assessment of damage. The tenant is responsible also unlimitedly for all losses caused by a not legitimate Skipper or from inappropriate use of the sailing charter. Incidentally it remains within the legal terms.
The excess fee cannot be withdrawn even with a surcharge, because a fidelity bond can be taken neither upon reservation nor on the spot.
- The bail covers the possible damage caused by the customer and is paid on the spot by credit card or cash.
The bail is taken into account after the return of the boat and check out.
If the amount of damage, attributed to the customer, should not be able to be estimated immediately, then the bail will be retained up to the time of an exact estimate
If the boat check out cannot be accomplished due to important reasons, then the bail will be retained until later.
- The sailing yacht is handed out with a full tank and must be returned filled up. Returns with a not completely filled up tank a surcharge of 15% is charged in addition to the missing fuel.
- The boat is handed over with a full tank and should be returned filled up. With a not filled up tank at the end of the vacation, the difference will be taken off automatically from the deposit
- The water tank will be handed over full, may be empty with return with no extra expenses. However, the expenses for refilling during cruising are carried out by the customer.
- The customer is responsible for all fees and penalties resulting in connection with the use of the sailing charter and punishments for which the landlord is taken up, unless they've been caused by the landlord himself
- Notice of defects:
If after the beginning of rental a lack of the sailing charter is noticed, the customer has to immediately advice the port personel and the contact person on site. The customer has to put in writing the defects immediately in the return protocol, later complaints in principle are not recognized
